Source Code Amnesty Day 2023

April 1st was Source Code Amnesty Day on the IntFiction Forum, an alternate celebration of April's Fool where authors share their source (spaghetti) code with the world!

So, for my participation, I chose to go down memory late and find the source code of the first ever version of Meeting the Parents - my first ever try at creating an Interactive Fiction game (well, any game, really) and learning how to code something!

Meeting the Parents looked very different than its current version. It was built in Harlowe (Twine) as this was the default format of the program, before soon moving to SugarCube (Twine) because I liked the visual of this format better. This version was online for about a few days before the SugarCube one was uploaded. It was very bare.

You can find the Source Code on my GitHub page!
